Madrid, 26 May 2022. ELZABURU has received numerous awards and recognitions in May: it received the award for Firm of the Year IP at the awards of the publication Iberian Lawyer, it has been nominated among the finalists at the upcoming Expansión Legal Awards in the category of “Best Firm in Intellectual Property”, and it will receive several distinctions at the Managing IP Awards to be held in London on 15 June.

On 12 May, Iberian Lawyer held its annual IP&TMT awards ceremony at the Hotel Wellington. At the ceremony ELZABURU received the award for Firm of the Year IP, and Antonio Castán, a partner of the firm, won the award for Lawyer of the Year Litigation, acknowledging his achievements in this area over the course of his professional career of more than 35 years.

Moreover, the financial newspaper Expansión has nominated ELZABURU among the finalists for the award for Best Firm in Intellectual Property, with the winner set to be announced on 30 June. ELZABURU actually won the award in both 2020 and 2021, which is a somewhat rare achievement.

At the Managing IP Awards, a prestigious international award ceremony in the field of intellectual property that will take place on 15 June, ELZABURU will receive the awards for Firm of the Year – Patent Contentious and Firm of the Year – Trademark Prosecution, the Impact Case award (Champagne judgment against Champanillo), and the award for Practitioner of the Year in Spain, to be presented to Carlos Morán.
