Commenting on recent decisions by the Benelux and Hungarian national offices holding Community trademark use in a single Member State to be insufficient, a series of trademark specialists, including Ramón Cañizares and Luis Soriano, lawyers with the ELZABURU Firm, have urged continuing to follow OHIM practice in this regard. The OHIM has always defended the unitary character of the Community trademark and sufficiency of use of CTMs in a single Member State to satisfy the use requirement.
